We’re really thrilled to be able to offer lovely Todburn Soaps through our website and studio, this local farm shares our concern for animal welfare and caring for the environment and of course how could we not love them – they keep goats!
Todburn Soaps are handmade in small batches locally in Northumberland, using the traditional ‘cold process’ method, combining creamy goats milk with carefully selected natural oils and butters, to produce naturally moisturising, bubbly soap.
Cocoa Butter and Shea Butter – for their moisturising, skin-loving qualities.
Coconut Oil – for its wonderful bubbles and cleansing abilities.
Olive Oil – for its mildness to skin.
Castor Oil – The essential fatty acids in castor oil help retain the skin’s moisture balance.
All bars are a minimum of 85g.
As they are handmade in small batches, there can be slight variations in colour.
Love your Soap – allow it to air dry between use – use a soap dish if possible.
All Todburn Goats Milk Soaps and Todburn shampoo bars have undergone cosmetic safety assessment and comply with current UK & EU legislation. No Palm oils, synthetic fragrances, Parabens or SLS.
Lavender
With a sweet, herbaceous scent and woody undertones, is regarded as one of the most versatile essential oils. It can be used for all skin types and can help with inflammation, eczema and psoriasis. Coloured with natural Alkanet Root.
May Chang & Lime
A sherbet-lemon scent, milder than lemongrass. It is stimulating and helps relieve fatigue. It has astringent properties and is believed to shrink open pores and help soothe skin. Lime essential oil is a great skin toner.
Sweet Orange and Marigold
Particularly helpful for dull and oily complexions, it has an anti-inflammatory action. Combined with petals from the Marigold (Calendula) plant.
Milk and Honey
Extra cocoa and shea butter in this recipe, along with lashings of local honey, have made this bar super special. Very, very creamy and oh so mild, this is a great soap for everyone, especially those with sensitive skin. It leaves your skin feeling soft and gently cleansed, and the honey adds antibacterial and humectant properties.
Tea Tree and Lemon
A crisp, fresh citrus smell. Tea tree has well-documented antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, whilst lemon is energising and purifying. French Green clay is cleansing, softening and smoothing. Suitable for all skin types, it is particularly helpful for neglected or troublesome skin. Green clay can help with tissue repair and may calm inflammation.
Honey and Oats
Made with local Northumbrian honey for its moisturising properties, together with soothing fine oatmeal, this soap is gentle but effective.
Geranium and Patchouli
With its floral scent, helps with skin healing and is great for sluggish skin. Patchouli oil has a rich musky-sweet, strong spicy and herbaceous smell and aids the regeneration of skin cells.
Unscented
For those with super sensitive skin or for those who want a creamy bar of soap that lathers beautifully but without scent.
